You've heard of fill the bus for county school supplies, but what about fill the truck for Florida.

That's the idea behind a massive food drive to help the victims of Hurricane Charley down in Florida. A group in Edgecombe County has decided to fill a truck with toiletries, and non perishable food items to help the victims in the south. Gardenia Wilford and Pattie Bridges lost everything in 1999 when their homes were flooded by Hurricane Floyd, which is why they decided to give food Sunday.

The food truck will be on Main Street in Tarboro in front of the Piggly Wiggly grocery store for the next four weeks or until it fills. However, organizers still need your help. The truck still has a lot of extra space.
