A Tarboro man has admitted he received child pornography over the Internet and faces at least 5 years in prison.
Daniel Ray Hyman made the guilty plea in federal court Tuesday. Authorities say Hyman was part of a nationwide operation by customs officials known as Operation Emissary.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement says Hyman was identified as a subscriber of a web site that was selling access to child porn.
Hyman will be sentenced December 10th and could serve between 5 and 20 years in federal prison.
