Some ECU Fans Celebrated The Game At Local Hotspot

As the most emotional and anticipated game played out in Blacksburg, Virgina Saturday, many fans in Eastern Carolina gathered in one local hotspot to cheer the purple and gold on.

The large screen televisions at Professor's O'Cools were tuned into the game with all eyes on the Pirates performance.

In the first quarter of the game a touchdown got fans on their feet. It's that early touchdown that had fans hopefully they could pull out the win despite the sentiments toward Virginia Tech.

Avid Pirate Fan, Jim Parker says, "Emotion is one thing and there's a lot of it up there but like our former coach said, that lasts about two or three plays then it's time to play football."

And ECU had an impressive game but couldn't get past that one touchdown to score again, losing 7 to 17.
