ECU Pirates Fall To The Virginia Tech Hokies

The East Carolina University Pirates fell to the Virginia Tech Hokies Saturday in Blacksburg, Virginia.

ECU put seven points on the scoreboard, while Virginia Tech racked up 17.

The ECU defense showed the right stuff, but the Hokies capitalized on Pirate mistakes, like an easily-intercepted pass they turned into a touchdown.

Penalties plagued the Pirate offense.

The Pirates played without East Carolina sophomore quarterback Rob Kass, who was projected to start the game. He was arrested and charged with drunk driving last week.
