Parents Impressed with Security Measures

Parents of students moving into ECU seem pleased with the new security measures they see on campus.

Access to the dorms will be limited only to students and their registered guests. Cameras will also record the happenings around every building entrance. Last year, two reported rapes and a hold-up occurred on campus. One parent we talked to says he's impressed with the extra effort the university is taking to help protect the students.

Once all the students move in, special meetings will take place to inform students on how to prevent crimes from happening on campus.
