Craven County lawmen say a suspect on the run for the past three years is now in custody. Craven County authorities arrested Coyet Bryant after a nearly one hour standoff.
Authorities say Bryant held himself up in a home on Rocky Run Road near New Bern for about an hour and a half Tuesday afternoon. Bryant is being questioned about a shooting that happened around 2:30 Tuesday morning in New Bern.
Bryant was wanted for an unspecified crime from several years ago.
