Greenville Police have three teens in custody for the shooting of a 16-year-old. Police also say the victim was an innocent bystander.
The shooting happened at 604 Sheppard St. in Greenville around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. That's where Greenville Police say they found 16-year-old Jayevion Rodriquez Brown. As of 5:30 a.m. Thursday, Brown was listed in critical condition after undergoing emergency surgery at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, according to police.
Three teens are in custody, charged with attempted murder. One suspect is 16-year-old Mario Laquan McLawhorn. A 15- year-old and a 14-year-old are also in custody but there names aren't being released because of their young age.
