Bonnie & Bath: A Rude Wakeup Call

Some residents in the Beaufort County town of Bath woke up Friday morning to find the remnants of Tropical Storm Bonnie bearing down... and hard!

What's believed to be a tornado touched down a little before 7 a.m., causing downed trees and power lines. In certain areas of Bath, there is a lot of damage to homes. Some residents along Highway 92 had trees uproot and fall on their homes, and their cars were crushed. One man had the roof blown off his barn.

Some residents we talked to said their power was restored shortly after the storm.
