Officials at an Asheville hospital say evangelist Billy Graham experienced more intestinal bleeding today.
A statement from Mission Health & Hospitals says the latest episode occurred around 8:30 this morning. The hospital says the bleeding was brief and Graham's condition quickly stabilized. He was said to be fully alert.
Prior to his most recent incident, the hospital said Graham had what was described as an "excellent night." He's listed in fair condition.
Graham watched a televised worship service from Spartanburg,
South Carolina, and had a chicken dinner on Sunday. He also walked in the hallways near his room, and visited with friends and family.
Graham's wife of 64 years, Ruth Bell Graham, died in June following a following a long illness.
