Drought Conditions Worsen In Eastern Carolina

Drought conditions have worsened in North Carolina, as most of the state is either under severe or extreme drought conditions.

In our area Greene, Wayne, Wilson, and Duplin Counties are now under a severe drought.

Cartertet, Pamlico, Beaufort, Hyde. Dare & Washington Counties are the only counties in the state that remain under the "abnormally dry" classification.
