Visitors to Roanoke Island's Festival Park in Dare County can have a good laugh, this week and all summer long.
How? By sitting in on the zany musical farce "Bloody Mary and the Virgin Queen."
The performance is loaded with political satire and local spoofs. It's based on the relationship between the historical Queen Elizabeth the First and her hated half-sister, Mary Tudor.
