Wayne County lawmen say someone broke into a convenience store early Monday morning, using the bumper of a car.
Authorities are studying surveillance video at the Friendly Mart on Highway 111 South near Goldsboro. A driver hit the store's doors with the car repeatedly, until the robber could slip inside.
Eight cartons of cigarettes were taken.
