Someone in North Carolina has a lottery ticket worth $600,000 -- and two weeks to claim it.
State lottery officials say someone bought the winning Powerball ticket at Wilco No. 1805 on Cotton Grove Road in Lexington. The winning numbers -- 13-20-41-42-53 -- were drawn February 28th. The deadline for claiming the prize is 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 27.
Winners have 180 days after a drawing to claim prizes for Powerball, Carolina Cash 5 and Carolina Pick 3. People with winning instant scratch-off tickets must claim their prizes within 90 days of the announced end of the game.
