On and off quick downpours will be possible through Sunday afternoon. Heavier rain could bring another 1 to 3 inches of rain to a few locations late Sunday and into Monday afternoon.
The severe weather that blew through Eastern Carolina Friday knocked down trees and power lines in several counties.
In the Wayne County city of Goldsboro, the roof was blown off a Days Inn Motel.
Thousands were without power as of midnight. Crews are working to restore the electricity.
In Edgecombe County, 911 officials reported that two mobile homes had been damaged on Colonial Road, east of Pinetops.
There have been no reports of injuries.
