District One Seat Could Be Confusing

WASHINGTON-- Tuesday's voting for the U.S. House District One seat vacated by Congressman Frank Ballance could be confusing for voters.

Not only did they have to choose a person to finish out Ballance's term, they had to vote in the primary elections for the seat.

Officials say there have been a few questions concerning the special election, but nothing volunteers haven't been able to clear up.

Officials say some voters had no idea a special election was taking place and others didn't understand why the candidates’ names picked for the special election were also on the primary ballot.

Ballance resigned in June citing health problems.
