Monday marked the ten-year anniversary of the fatal accident that took the lives of ten Plymouth high school students as they were returning to band camp.
Monday morning we spoke to the student's former band director, Leroy Bland as he returned to the site where the accident happened. The students died when their SUV passed a car and slammed into a truck along Highway 45 south in Plymouth.
Even though the tragedy happened ten years ago, Bland says the tragedy remains with him like it was yesterday.
The ten victims were named the "Band of Angels." A memorial in their honor was held over the weekend.
