AUTHORITIES: Man Who Shot His Wife At Alzheimer Facility Has Died
The elderly Maysville man who authorities say shot and killed his 80-year-old wife at the Alzheimer's Related Care Community Tuesday night in Onslow County has died.

The elderly Maysville man who authorities say shot and killed his 80-year-old wife at the Alzheimer's Related Care Community Tuesday night in Onslow County has died.
Offcials say 80-year-old Curtiss J. Hargrove died Friday night at NewHanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
Deputies, investigators and CSI were dispatched to the Alzheimer's Related Care Community on Onslow Pines Road in Jacksonville Tuesday to investigate a murder and attempted suicide.
When authorities arrived, they found Harriett Hargrove, in her room, shot twice in the head. They say Curtiss J. Hargrove suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the right side of his head.
