The man authorities say was behind the wheel in a wreck that killed three people in Beaufort County got another continuance in court Thursday.

Harry Moore Junior is facing misdemeanor death by motor vehicle charges in the December 28 crash on Cherry Run Road in Washington.

Troopers say Moore was driving 90 miles per hour when he lost control, and the mustang ran off into Cherry Branch Creek. Angela Carter, Rakima McCall and Earl Windley died. Daniel Avery was seriously hurt but survived.

A court clerk said the case has been continued until April 15th. Moore's case had already been delayed once before.

Give me a break. Yes, most of you don't know the full story! Not a week before this wreck where he killed 3 people he was driving down a private gravel road and took out a mail box and pump house, because he was under the influence of something. I know first hand I was there! He shouldn't have a license or access to a vehicle and should do time for what he did. Accidents are one thing but just plain being stupid and showing off should be punished. That curve is plainly marked and there was no excuse for going 90 mph at that location.

Let me correct my thought on the NC Justice system it does need modifcations but we have to look to our law makers in Raleigh to do that but I don't have any faith in them either.

To M in regards to the 16 yr old in Wilson, I don't think he was under the influence nor had a drug past. Some things do happen. Is 16 the age for permit only driving in NC, I am so old I have not even thought about it, my daughter was 18 when she was licensed so was my nephrew. I still don't know the answer to why all these young people where with him on that day instead of at a job. Alot in this world makes no sense to me, all I can do is pray and make sure my family is as safe as possible. NC Justice system does not modifications but may not see it in my life time.
