Charges Brought In Horses & Dogs Case
Ashley Daniels of Jarvis Landing Road in Aurora has been charged with six counts of misdemeanor cruelty to animals.

Charges have been brought in the case of horses and dogs seized from a Beaufort County farm.
Ashley Daniels of Jarvis Landing Road in Aurora has been charged with six counts of misdemeanor cruelty to animals.
Deputies say they seized four dogs and 16 dogs, while the property owner turned over another 16 dogs to the Humane Society. One horse had to be euthanized at the scene by a veterinarian.
Deputies say additional charges are possible.

Sixteen horses and four dogs were seized from a Beaufort County farm this week. Authorities say one horse had to be euthanized at the scene.
As WITN first reported Monday night, authorities converged on the farm on Vinegar Hill Road outside of Aurora.
Sheriff deputies say they were armed with search warrants for a total of three properties in the area, searching for animals and assessing their health and living conditions.
A news release says sixteen other dogs were voluntarily turned over to the Humane Society by the property owner.
The sheriff's office says no arrests have been made and they say the investigation is ongoing.

Authorities are back out at a home in Beaufort County, investigating the well being of some animals.
The property under investigation is in aurora on Vinegar Hill Road.
Officials say under 20 dogs and several horses have been handed over to authorities, however the condition of the animals is not being discussed.

dd.... I'm not exactly one of his "buddies". You should really get the entire story before you judge. It's quite obvious to me that if Ashley was such a monster he wouldn't have had the charges dismissed, they wouldn't have agreed to update him on every single horse as updates are warranted, they wouldn't have agreed not to euthanize any of the animals... so on & so forth. If a man is clearly guilty of something they don't just drop all the charges against him.
No dismissed does not say anything..the picture of the emaciated horse and the surrender of all the animals says it all "me" who are you one of the ex-owners buddies?
ALL CHARGES DISMISSED!!!!!!!!! I think that says it all. Why hasn't WITN updated the story with that information?
