Police in Wilmington say a 29-year-old motorist died when a gunshot passed through his car door and struck him in the left side.
\Police say the death of Morris Cuttino early yesterday is being treated as a homicide. A police spokeswoman says it's the sixth slaying of the year in Wilmington.
Spokeswoman Lucy Crockett says authorities don't have a suspect.
The victim's car ran into an empty lot where it was stopped by a
concrete wall. Cuttino was pronounced dead before he arrived at the
