Ethanol Plant Still Delayed

The date for the planned ethanol plant in Aurora in Beaufort County has been pushed back, once again. In fact, the company running the project says they're hesitant to say at all when they plan to break ground.

Terry Rouse with Agri-Ethanol Products of Raleigh says, he's hoping to break ground on the aurora ethanol plant around the first of the year. Rouse says the company is still in the phase of selecting a contractor. There are more than 100 contractors actively bidding for the 200 million dollar aurora plant project. The groundbreaking has been delayed now well over a year.
