Every patrol officer will hit the streets for twelve hours a day monitoring the areas known for high levels of crime. The police department is bringing more patrols to areas of West Greenville without the additional of new officers. That means, corporals and k-9 unit officers will assist in patrols of areas where residents see the most amount of crime. Officers hope the increase in visibility will deter criminal behavior in these areas of town.
