Former Employer Of Slain Pregnant Woman Offers Ten Thousand Reward

Officials at Progress Energy are offering a ten-thousand dollar reward for information leading to the conviction of the killer of a pregnant woman.

Michelle Young worked at Progress Energy as a senior financial
specialist in the company's tax department. She was found beaten to
death in her Wake County home in November with her young daughter
at her side unharmed.

Authorities have no suspects. Early search warrants indicated that the investigation focused on Young's husband.

Sheriff Donnie Harrison says the reward could have hindered the
investigation in the early stages. He says it now could motivate
people to come forward.
