An insurance agent will have to serve a year of electronic house arrest and four years of supervised probation after her guilty plea in Lenoir County.
Terri Lynn Spence of Emerald Isle pleaded guilty to five counts of embezzlement by an insurance agent. The 34-year-old woman was also ordered to pay $46,733 in restitution and court fees.
Spence was arrested by Department of Insurance investigators and La Grange police in June 2008 for embezzlement and obtaining property by false pretense.
According to the investigation, there were 43 victims and 16 insurance companies affected by the embezzlement. The state says most of the policies were homeowners insurance and workers compensation.

Sounds like you are personally involved with the girl. Hopefully this whole deal has taught her, and you, a valuable lesson. It's wrong to steal from people. When you get your own life in order, then you can judge others. It doesn't feel so good living a normal joe life does it ?
I love to read the garbage that you ill-informed uneducated hicks post about other people. I bet the whole time your blogging and posting your little digs you have your radio turned up playing "Dirty Laundry" by Don Henley. That's right, kick em when their up and kick em when there down!!! She got hers and still is as it's my understanding...the fact that so many of you still are concerned is amazing that you have nothing better to do with your lives!! Pathetic!
I still wonder did her husband know she was doing this ? He was driving the Porsche and the Alfa Romeo before that. He had to know they had excess money coming in.
