Greenville police say they've solved two recent rapes with the arrest of a Greenville man.
26 year old Derrick Bowers is facing 11 different charges, including first degree rape, sex offense, kidnapping and attempted murder.
The first attack happened when a woman was leaving her dog groomer on East 10th Street on May 4th. Police say the woman was forced into her car at knife point and was sexually assaulted in a remote location in the county.
Then on June 28th a woman says a man forced his way into her Cherry Court apartment where she was sexually assaulted and strangled.
Police say in both case the victims gave the same description of the suspect which led to Bowers' arrest.
Bowers is in jail on a $1,000,000 bond.
