More Rain On Tuesday
It looks like a soggy Tuesday across much of eastern North Carolina.

A new storm system developing over Louisiana will move northeast into North Carolina on Tuesday spreading rain into the area. Rainfall totals will average near one-half inch with locally heavier amounts. The rain will quickly move out of the area late Tuesday night followed by clearing skies on Wednesday. Dry weather should extend into the weekend although a storm to our south could bring some clouds on Friday. In fact, snow could fall to our south on Friday making it a winter wonderland across much of South Carolina and central Georgia. At this point the storm is expected to stay far enough south to keep the snow away from us. Otherwise it will be a chilly week with highs in the 40s and lows in the 20s.

That was funny NYY. Even though people from NY give us northerners a bad name, they don't know how lucky they are to not have any snow down here.
