Program Seeks To Boost Number Of Minority Attorneys

Some dedicated college students are willing to give up a month of summer vacation to learn about law school.

The Road to Law School Academy is intended to help minority college students learn about the law school experience and possibly choose to attend a law school.

The American Bar Association's Council on Legal Education Opportunities chose North Carolina for the session after it found that minority attorneys are underrepresented in the state.

Students from N-C A-And-T, U-N-C Greensboro, Winston-Salem State, and N-C Central were invited to participate in the four-week program.

U-N-C Greensboro is hosting the session.
