Virginia police now say a babysitter is no longer a suspect is a child abduction. The infant was found safe here in Eastern Carolina.
It all started just over the border in the town of Franklin, Virginia. It ended when the child was discovered in Aulander in Bertie County Thursday.
Police now tell us the baby's mother has been charged with filing a false police report and child neglect.
Five-month old Kyleak Warren disappeared on June third. He was found Thursday at the home of the babysitter's boyfriend and returned to Virginia.
Police originally thought the babysitter had abducted the infant, but now say that's not what happened.
The case received widespread attention, even appearing on the America's Most Wanted web site.
