Harvest Crusade Attendance In Raleigh One Of Its Largest

Churches in the Triangle can expect to see some new faces. Organizers say the three-day Harvest Crusade held this past weekend in Raleigh attracted 41-thousand-500 people. That's the largest crowd to ever attend the crusade outside its California base.

Harvest officials say around 24-hundred people converted to Christianity during the three-day run.

The crusade featured evangelist Greg Laurie as well as Christian rock and rap music.

Planning took a year and involved more than 200 churches and some three thousand volunteers.
