The Pitt County School Board voted unanimously Monday night to implement a new school uniform policy. The policy takes effect Fall 2008.
Students will be allowed to wear pants, skirts or shorts that are solid khaki, navy or black. Blue jeans will not be allowed under the new policy.
Students will have to wear collared shirts that are either solid white or one of two other colors that individual schools will decide on.
