To "neighbors": Neither of you need to point fingers as to what happened here. You don't know all the facts and are merely spreading rumors. That is not what is needed. If the details were any of your business, you would already know the facts. Your time would be better spent in prayer for both families instead of insinuations. Leave them alone!

Parents all over need to learn that youngsters must be supervised when handling guns. The parents should check and re-check the gun to see if it is safe. My heart goes out to both families.

It is a tragic thing for these boys to have to go through. I know them both. As for the parents that were not supervising, but knew what they were doing, I have to wonder are they responsible? This is not something I take to blame someone. Wake up and watch your children when firearms are involved. Godbless both families. In my opinion the word accident is being assumed and used too loosely.
