Charges Dropped Against UPS Workers Accused of Stealing Jewelry

Four U.P.S. workers, accused of stealing two hundred thousand dollars worth of jewelry from packages, will not face charges.

The District Attorney dropped charges due to insufficient evidence and pending further investigation, this according to a local newspaper.

The four workers were arrested in March, after 13 packages bound for the Bailey's and Wade Designs stores in Rocky Mount were stolen. Officers say the thefts started in November of 2005.
