Wanted Man Arrested In Halifax County
A wanted man is off the streets Monday. Halifax County Lawmen say he was on the run from the State Department of Corrections.

A wanted man is off the streets Monday. Halifax County Lawmen say he was on the run from the State Department of Corrections.
Christopher Pinkney was wanted by the state after they say he's skipped probation and parole supervision. Lawmen in Halifax County say they arrested Pinkney after pulling over a car on U.S. Highway 158 in Roanoke Rapids for a traffic violation and finding drugs inside. Pinkney has been locked up in the past for breaking and entering. Pinkney was put in the Halifax County Jail under a $10,000 bond.
