A Pitt County property owner isn't horsing around, she wants some answers.
Sandy Yannarella says someone deliberately cut the electric fence around the pasture where she keeps her horses on Ervin Buck road off Highway 43 in Pitt County.
Yannarella has no idea who might have done this, but she's working to find clues. She says there was a no trespassing sign visible at the time the fence was cut, but just to get her point across a much larger one is now up...one that says "Trespassers will be shot!" If the horses had gotten out, she believes her animals and passersby could have been seriously injured.
Yannarella filed a report with the Pitt County Sheriff's Office, but investigators do not have enough evidence to name a suspect.
