Special Needs Children Get A Chance To Play Ball

The Heroes Baseball League in Williamston was formed to give special needs children in the area a chance to play ball.

The Heroes League began with just a few children and grew into two teams with over twenty players. What makes this league so special is each player is assigned a buddy to play with them during the game. The buddies are all young baseball players themselves.

Organizers say they are overwhelmed by the community support for the league's first year.
