Traffic Up At Charlotte Airport

About 140-thousand more passengers boarded or switched planes in April than a year ago at Charlotte/Douglas International Airport.

Airport figures showed that in April about one-point-four million passengers boarded planes in Charlotte. That compares with nearly one-point-three (m) million passengers in the same month a year ago.

The increased traffic came as U-S Airways and other airlines increased flights. Charlotte is U-S Airways' largest hub.
