An Employee In Greenville Robbed At Gunpoint

Greenville Police are investigating an armed robbery of a gas station employee. The incident happened at The Murphy's Gas Station on Southwest Greenville Boulevard just after 8:30 Sunday morning.

Officers say the worker was making a bank deposit, when the suspect approached the employee in the parking lot, pulled out a gun and demanded the deposit bag.

Investigators tell us the suspect ran off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Just recently, a McDonald's employee was robbed and beaten in Greenville as she made a bank deposit. It's unknown if these two cases are related.
