A three month prostitution sting, designed by the Greenville Police Department's impact team led to the arrest of thirty five people. Police say those individuals now face various prostitution charges. The operation was set up after officials say community members complained of prostitution activity around areas as Dickinson Avenue and 14th Street. The team used both decoy prostitutes and decoy "Johns" to catch the suspects. Authorities say they hope the bust will make people feel safer and deter any future criminal activity in the area.
