Experts say Black Friday brings in about 10 billion dollars a year and people across Eastern Carolina were taking advantage of the sales.

Experts say Black Friday brings in about 10 billion dollars a year and people across Eastern Carolina were taking advantage of the sales.
Not everyone got up at the crack of dawn -- but still many had their money ready and were buying plenty of items.
People we spoke to said there were still plenty of stuff in the stores.
Experts say many stores don't wait until Black Friday to give out good deals.
In fact, they say many retailers start at the beginning of the month.
Which is why some people say you won't catch them out early in the morning.
Black Friday is a term started by the Philadelphia Police Department because of all the traffic at stores following Thanksgiving.
