The study, conducted by the Sandelman and Associates Restaurant Marketing Research and Consulting Firm, says Greenville residents reported eating at fast food joints six times a week in 2006. In that year, fifty nine percent of fast-food users in Greenville, visited a quick-service restaurant twelve or more times a month. ECU dietitian, Dr. Kathryn Kolasa says she's not surprised by the study results and says residents need to think more about the health risks associated with fatty foods like obesity, high blood pressure and diabetes. Dr. Kolasa says people can research fast food information at www.fastfoodfacts.com.
