A science teacher from Greene Central High School has been involuntarily committed, after lawmen say he made comments at school described as "extreme religious beliefs."
Corey Roush, 24 years-old, is not charged with a crime, but students and parents say they have concerns for their safety.
Greene County Schools superintendent Dr. Steve Mazingo says, "The rumor they're hearing about violence, a hit list or any of those things are just not true. I wish I could be absolutely honest about this, but it involves a personnel matter and involves minor students and I can't give specific details other than to say students are not in any danger."
Dr. Mazingo also says Roush is on paid leave pending an administrative investigation
