It's been a little over a month since a Kinston boy witnessed the unimaginable inside his home.
Timarcus Carraway, 14 years old, extinguished the flames that engulfed his mother's body after police say Timothy Kinsey, Timarcus's father, set her ablaze during a violent argument. Timarcus's mother, Juanita Kinsey suffered second and third degree burns across her back and face. Timarcus suffered severe burns on his hands, making it nearly impossible for him to write or even dress himself.
After extensive physical therapy, Timarcus has now regained use of his hands. Family members say, his mother, Juanita Kinsey is in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery
