The state agency that certifies law enforcement officers in North Carolina will wait to make a decision on whether a Rocky Mount police officer will lose his certification. The North Carolina criminal justice training and standards commission tells WITN they will not make a decision on the certification of Rocky Mount police sergeant Allen Moore until after his court date June 11. Moore was arrested in Wake County earlier this month and charged with DWI and reckless driving. The police department says it cannot release information on Moore's current employment status.
