Durham Mayor Wants Probe In The Duke Lacrosse Case To Continue

The mayor of Durham says he wants the state attorney general to look into the handling of the Duke lacrosse investigation by local police and the District Attorney.

Mayor Bill Bell says a city manager's report still leaves the question open as to who was leading the investigation.

The attorney general eventually threw out the sexual assault charges against three team members and said the prosecutor was out of bounds.

Defense lawyers say the report from the city manager and police chief lacks analysis of what happened in the case.
