"Memorial Flight" Gets Ready To Take Off

It's estimated that fewer than four million World War Two Veterans are still alive, with over a thousand dying each day according to government records. Memorial Flight, a local grass roots project is raising money to fly Veterans from Eastern Carolina to see the World War Two Memorial in Washington D-C. Pam Morgan founded Memorial Flight and has supplemented this weekend's trip with her own money, but is working to raise funds to send a second group of veterans to see the memorial. The cost to sponsor a Veteran is $300.
