Federal health officials say hogs in as many
as six states have been fed salvaged pet food that's contaminated
with an industrial chemical. Food safety officials say hogs at
farms in California, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Utah
and possibly Ohio ate the contaminated products. It's not yet known if any of the hogs entered the food supply for humans. Hogs at some of the farms have been quarantined.
