Greensboro police say an anti-war rally that also drew counter protesters today was peaceful.
About 300 people came to hear activist Cindy Sheehan speak and about half that number of counter protesters showed up.
Police closed a street and erected fencing to keep the two groups apart.
Police Captain G.A. Holder says keeping the groups apart assures that everyone gets to say what they want to say peacefully.
