Showing Hokie Pride

Americans are being asked to wear the
Virginia Tech colors of maroon and orange today, as a way to show
Hokie pride following this week's massacre on campus. Virginia
Governor Tim Kaine has declared today a day of mourning and is
calling for a moment of silence at noon, in honor of the 32
victims.

The ECU Pirate Club is also answering the call to support Virginia Tech. ECU announced Thursday that the Pirate Club will commit to donating $100,000 to Virginia Tech. That donation will be made September 1, when the Pirate Football Team travels to Blacksburg, VA to play Virginia Tech in the first game of the year. You can learn more by calling (252) 737-4540.
