Keeping your hair looking good isn't always
easy -- or cheap.
A financial report filed with the Federal Election Commission
shows that John Edwards' presidential campaign paid $800.00 for
the Democrat to get two haircuts by a celebrity stylist from
The stylist says he and Edwards have been friends for a long
time. He says the cut was more expensive than usual because he went
to Edwards, rather than having Edwards come into his salon.
The F-E-C report also lists more than $200.00 in services
from each of two spas -- one in Iowa, the other in New Hampshire.
Edwards has made the war on poverty the central theme of his
campaign, but he's been criticized from building a 5.3 million-dollar house in North Carolina.
