WITN News at Sunrise has been visiting area schools for the last few weeks. This week’s stop took us to Northside High School in Onslow County. The school was selected after we saw the great love the students had for their school and administrative staff, especially their principal.

The Northside monarchs have many wonderful programs to choose from including the Marching Monarchs, Northside’s marching band, the show choir, the ROTC program, a program for students interested in the military, and the Health Occupations Program.

Students at Northside are even learning how to spice life up with cooking classes in their Pro-Start Culinary Program. This program teaches students all about cooking and baking and prepares them to go into the food service industry.
